Help Ukraine.

Members of Naperville’s Sister Cities Commission have been watching the ongoing military invasion in Ukraine with the same shock and helplessness as many in Naperville and around the globe. One of Naperville’s Sister Cities, Nitra Slovakia is on the border of Ukraine.  As this ongoing humanitarian crisis evolves, we know one thing will remain in the coming days and weeks: displaced Ukrainians need our assistance.

In partnership with Marquette Properties, Edward-Elmhurst Health,  the Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce and KidsMatter, the Commission is seeking donations to provide needed medical supplies and equipment to Ukrainian refugees who have been transported from Poland to Spain and are lacking these basic resources to ensure their health and safety.

All donations raised  will be used to purchase the aforementioned items and will assist the efforts of Peter Foyo, a Naperville Sister Cities Commissioner and Honorary Counsel of Ukraine, who is working closely with other business owners contracting planes to transport refugees from Poland to Madrid, Spain where refugees in recovery are receiving temporary shelter. Medical supplies are  urgently needed to provide them care.

Our hope is to show our community’s compassion and the power of our caring hearts as we work together to lift up those forced from their homeland, providing basic needs and hope to Ukrainians during this time.

Please donate whatever you can!

Currently raised $3038 of $50,000
